Vehicle exhaust extraction system installation project.
RAM Environmental were amongst a select group of dust and fume extraction specialists approached by Intercounty Group to provide adequate vehicle exhaust fume extraction at 7 sites around the country.
Intercounty Truck and Van are a trusted partner with Mercedes Benz providing sales, servicing and repairs to commercial vehicles.
RAM were given the opportunity to provide and install an exhaust fume extraction system that not only provided extraction for a number of vehicles across the Mercedes Benz range but that would also not take up space in already busy workshops.
As a UK supplier of the Worky vehicle exhaust extraction range, we were able to select hose reels in a number of diameters to suit the varying exhaust types. Fans were also selected from the Worky range and varied from 1.1Kw to 2.2Kw to ensure airflow was sufficient enough to provide extraction a number of reels depending on the system. Extension hoses were supplied to allow extra mobility and a selection of nozzles that directly clip onto exhausts were also fitted providing the most effective way to capture fumes.
The project was installed within the given time frame and upon wiring, our engineers returned to carry out commissioning tests on all of the systems.

RAM were extremely professional when they designed and fitted the LEV in our new design and technology department. Richards experience and knowledge working in a school environment was a great help in the design period. After Richard had fitted the extraction system all D&T staff and users of the department were very impressed with the outcome.
